You know you’re in Los Angeles—or on a reality TV show—when you find yourself seated next to Whitney Port at two dinners in a row. Not only did I make super awkward eye contact with random celebs, but I also got to help celebrate Miss Christina Tosi’s cookbook and her special appearance on the Conan O’Brien show with a party at the Mandrake. Fun! Too much sugar and perhaps one too many White Russians made it a pretty good night for the ultra-cute crowd.
Which leads me to something even more important:
WHAT - The Bake Off. Hint: it’s the American Idol of baking.
WHO - Christina Tosi. Think Simon Cowell and Paula Abdul minus the white T-shirt and medication.
HOW – She rates you and your dessert…kind of like Adam Lambert’s “Whataya Want From Me?”

I promise fame, fortune or, at the very least, a moment of sweet glory on Sous Style…
