Bon Appétit, one of my favorite magazines, included me in their list of top 26 Tastemakers for 2012… Seriously! No joke! It’s real! I read it! I think my heart skipped a thousand beats or more; especially when I saw who else was on the list.
Legends like Alice Waters, Jake Gyllenhaal, Sarah Britton, Taavo Somer, Ignacio Mattos and André Balazs to name a few. The write-up was especially lovely and really nailed what Sous Style is all about—the imperfect perfect.
Anyway, I know I should play it cool and act like this sort of thing happens every day, but screw it—I’m excited as hell!
