Sharpen those shears
Posted in The How To, Tips | Posted on by lianna | COMMENT

PROBLEM: Your kitchen scissors are so dull you can barely slice the stems off a bouquet of cheap, deli-bought peonies, and you don’t have a tall enough vase to store them with the full stems.

SOLUTION: To sharpen up your shears, grab a piece of aluminum foil and start slicing away. After awhile, the blades will be keen enough to chop a chunk of plywood. Best of all: you can use the same technique to sharpen a dull can-opener.
