If I could cook for anyone: I’d cook breakfast for friends and then sit around drinking coffee – sounds like a pretty great morning to me. I love breakfast, especially on the weekends when I have time to enjoy it. Maybe a mushroom and Fontina frittata if a pretty girl is around. Show off my skills.
Any hidden talents? I can do some pretty good impersonations. Old Gregg is my go-to.
Best place I’ve ever traveled: A few years back, I took an amazing trip to Portland with friends. We drank a lot of coffee, among other things… took spur-of-the-moment road trips, got rained on (a lot) and bought a ton of design books at Powell’s. We had the time of our lives.
I’m dying to go to: I have been wanting to go skiing in New Zealand for a very long time.
Best things about Phoenix: My friends and family, my dog, the fact that it doesn’t snow, Mexican food and the sunsets.
Most incredible dinner out: I love Pizzeria Bianco in downtown Phoenix. They have this pizza with pistachios on it that is out-of-this-world good. That pizza paired with their beer that tastes like cream soda is one of the best meals I have ever had.
If my apartment was a person: I would say it’s Clark Gable. Classic yet refined.
Ideal date: Something very low key; dinner, drinks, maybe a movie at home. I’m always going at 100 mph so slowing things down is always a nice change of pace.
If my dog could talk: I always joke she would sound like Julie Andrews. Maybe that’s just because a dog speaking with a British accent would be hilarious.

2. Whatever the “Special” is at Matt’s Big Breakfast in Phoenix. I never look at the menu, I always just order the special. It’s worked out well so far.
3. Double Bacon Cheeseburger from Hodad’s in San Diego
4. Steamed Pork Belly Buns from Pok Pok in Portland
5. Chorizo Burrito with a side of corn on the cob and a Mexican Coca-Cola from Cafe Habana in New York
