Daily Uniform: My yukata from Tokyo or an indian silk muumuu, unless I leave the house.
Today, I’m wearing: A vintage Chantal Thomas dress I stole from my mom and a leather and Tahitian pearl necklace I made. A linen reverend’s robe from 1874 and a vintage concha belt my dad gave me when I was little.
I have a few: Hot sauces.
For my next birthday, I plan to: Eat and drink and dance on Ydra, in Greece, in about a week!
Most-Prized Posession: My health.
In the kitchen, I swear by: Onions.
The taste I couldn’t live without: Spice. I LOVE hot sauce, chili flakes…
Most incredible dinner out: I’ve had too many. As long as there are good friends and good wine any dinner can be incredible.
The place I’m dying to visit: Seychelles, those rocks on La Digue have had me dreaming for a long time.
Favorite Recipe: The butternut squash soup recipe in Simple to Spectacular by Jean-Georges Vongerichten. It’s so delicious and comforting. You basically boil butternut squash in vegetable broth, puree it, then add a ton of creme fraiche and salt and pepper.
If I could cook for anyone, it would be: I’d love to impress my dad with some perfectly cooked meat.

1. Late-night burritos at Cactus Taqueria, a tiny stand on Vine in Hollywood.
2. Dinner at L’Atelier de Joel Robuchon in Paris.
3. Tasting menu at The Fat Duck in Bray, England.

5. “Brinner” — the fourth meal — at Fred 62 in Vermont.
