Taking a last minute jaunt around Europe? Pull up in one of these drop-dead gorgeous vessels. Yeah, we went boat hunting so you don’t have to.
1. WHY Yachts, 58 x 38 Model
Hermes had a hand in this one, so the thing screams sophistication. Loving the shape – it’s like your own private, moving island. With a helipad. And a pool. Perfect for lounging around Monaco waiting to be photographed (bikini tops on, ladies.)
2. Cantieri Navali Rizzardi, Guilty
You can’t buy it, but we still want it. The ship’s exterior was designed by Jeff Koons and deserves a seen-and-be-seen atmosphere. We’re thinking Miami, maybe? Not only is the thing a work of art in itself, it’s carrying some of the owner’s collection of Anish Kapoor and Nathalie Djurberg pieces. We might just spend all of our time inside the ship…
3. Riva Yachts, Aquariva by Gucci
If you’re pulling up to port in Sardinia, do it like the Italians do: in a Gucci cigarette boat. Glossy white, slick mahogany, and the signature Gucci stripe. Good enough for Frida Giannini is good enough for me.
4. ISA Yachts, Papi du Papi
I like the idea of moving in to this one. Seven bedrooms (plus rooms for the crew), theater, hot tub, multiple sunning decks, a bar, all while cruising along the Dalmatian Coast. Life ain’t bad.
5. Luca Brenta, B60
Classic chic. Think Cannes, between awards ceremonies and galas. Hotels? We’ve moved on. This gorgeous sailboat is ideal indoor-outdoor living.
