Hey, New Yorkers – what are you up to tomorrow night?!
There is a special FUNdrasiser for local bars and restaurants ravaged by Hurricane Sandy as well as those in Red Hook left cold and hungry. There are 3 specific causes for which to raise funds:
One of our favorite East Village gems that was pummeled by the storm and is currently rebuilding.
Our friendʼs new restaurant in Dumbo, which was basically wiped out and is now in recovery-mode from the ground up.
The Red Hook Initiative
A community organization in Red Hook providing hot meals, medical and legal assistance, supplies and emotional support to its community of residents.
WHERE: Pouring Ribbons, 225 Avenue B, between 13th and 14th Streets.
WHEN: Thursday, November 15th, 7pm to midnight.
WHO: Come one, come all – East Villager or not, who can pass up a do-good cocktail?
The $20 at the door buys you some goodwill (and entry) into the benefit. Added bonus- The 86 Company has donated gin + rum for specialty BLACK OUT SANDY cocktails.
