So the Chanel Métiers d’Art show took place last Tuesday in Linlithgow Palace outside Edinburgh, Scotland and it was no small spectacle – think bagpipes, torches, Ivanhoe, mist on the moor – celebrating the Scottish ateliers who make Chanel’s cashmere and the homeland of Gabriel Chanel’s longtime lover, the Duke of Westminster.
