Emerald City

It's a green, green world - go trendy with Pantone's lively color of the year

Pantone’s color of 2013 is Emerald Green, and we’re into it.

Like, really into it. Ever since Dorothy’s Emerald City set the gold (green?) standard for lush and lovely interiors, we’ve fallen for the color.

Same went for Gwyneth’s turn in the decade-old Great Expectations. Director Alfonso Cuarón washed her Estelle and every scene in green and made it THE color of aspirational beauty.

Ok, so a more practical choice might be to include a single set of drapes, or an accent pillow, but we’re dreaming big here – coat the walls in the stuff! Give me green cabinets! Click through and tell us what you think of floor to ceiling green.
